Joshua Aurelius Galloway

With a pristine eye for capturing commercial, editorial, and documentary projects. His camera has captured images seen in local and national publications such as QC Nerve, Ebony Magazine, Essence Magazine, Charlotte Observer, FOUR MAGAZINE, and more.   Galloway’s creative journey started on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte North Carolina studying Computer Science and Graphic Design. While his love for technology stayed constant, Galloway quickly learned he held an abundant knack for creativity and wanted to add that to his vast list of skill sets. In 2009, he decided to pursue his passions full-time.   More than 12 years later, Galloway has kept busy. Also known as The Creative Gentlemen, Galloway has worked with non-profits, Fortune 500 companies, startups, and entrepreneurs. His talent has led him to collaborate with national brands such as Cole Haan, Warby Parker, Aloft Hotels, Wayne State University in Detroit, and more. With a focus on proper marketing and branding for small businesses, Galloway launched a consulting business. His clientele includes local entities such as BLKTECHCLT, Goodwill, the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African American Arts + Culture, Dreamville Festival, Ride Jaunt, and more, all hiring him for his style in creative direction, photography, and strategy.   He has also led creative marketing campaigns for political figures such as Joel Ford for Charlotte Mayor and Terry Brown for District 3 City Council. When Galloway isn’t behind his camera or laptop, you can find him munching on good food, taking care of his 17 plants and counting, jamming to old school R&B, or watching a Marvel film.
